Longtime Cincinnati-area business adds newly acquired vintage 45s approximately every three weeks and serves collectors around the world
CINCINNATI, OH, UNITED STATES, August 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Parker’s Records & Comics, a Cincinnati-area business serving music and comic book collectors since 1987, has expanded its online inventory to nearly 87,000 collectible items.
The current inventory at parkersrc.com includes approximately 61,754 records and 24,960 comic books, for a combined total of 86,714 items. The collection continues to grow each month, with newly acquired vintage 45 rpm records added to the website approximately every three weeks.
Founder Don Parker opened the first Parker’s Records & Comics store in Loveland, Ohio, in May 1987. The business moved to Milford in 1991, where it became a longtime destination for area record and comic collectors.
After selling the brick-and-mortar store in September 2019, Parker continued the business online. The transition allowed Parker’s to reach a wider audience while continuing to provide the personal service that customers had come to expect from the local store.
“I still love talking with customers and helping them find the records and comics they have been searching for,” Parker said. “Moving online has allowed us to serve collectors throughout the United States and around the world.”
One feature that distinguishes Parker’s from many online record sellers is the ability to listen before purchasing. Every record listed includes a sound clip except “Charted Hits” & “Reissues”, allowing collectors to hear the recording before placing an order.
Parker’s also emphasizes fast customer service and next-day shipping whenever possible, combining the convenience of an online store with the personal attention of a longtime independent dealer.
“The inventory is always changing,” Parker said. “We add newly acquired 45s about every three weeks, so there is always something different for collectors to discover.”
