“After having not dated for 14 years, it was something of a shock to find myself back in the world of meeting new people,” explained Rosenberg. “Everything was different. I wasn’t 23 anymore, for one thing. I was a mother. My body was different. I was not the same person I had been. Going on 61 dates was sometimes fun, sometimes very cringe-inducing, and sometimes deeply confusing. I eventually learned that finding love had a lot to do with figuring out who I was and what I really needed.”
Rosenberg, who has been in a five-year relationship with the 6’4” doctor she met on the dating app Bumble, and whom she describes as “wonderful”, decided to approach dating the way she had approached much of her life: with curiosity, determination, humor, and the strategic mind of a CEO. As Founder and CEO of Paz Interactive, a branding and digital marketing agency working with businesses and organizations in Israel and the United States, Rosenberg found that her background in strategy and storytelling was valuable to her dating journey. “I started to look at finding a new partner as a life project, and I was able to develop a framework through which I could look at love differently,” she added.
In Dating Back to Love, Rosenberg writes openly about dating after divorce, motherhood, body image, sex, heartbreak, manifestation, self-worth, and the often hilarious reality of looking for love in the age of dating apps. “I’m not a dating expert,” she clarified. “I’m an experienced dater, and I think other women can learn from my experience.”
