About the Author
Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Evgueniy “Gene” Todorov began his writing journey at the Sofia Mathematical School, where he competed at the national level for essay writing. After graduating from the Sofia Economic University, Todorov immigrated to the United States in 1991 and joined the United States Marine Corps in 1993. During active-duty service, which involved multiple tours in Iraq, Bosnia, and Afghanistan, Todorov wrote several essays and short stories for personal and family entertainment. Through his latest book, Odin’s Baked Goods, Todorov combines instruction with humor to trace the legends of Norse mythology, Viking sagas, and key Scandinavian Kings through the art of baking.
Todorov is an MBA graduate of Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland, with an MA from American Military University. After retiring from the Marine Corps, Todorov settled in Alexandria, Virginia, with his wife and daughter.
