The bestselling Catholic author invites pilgrims to a sacred American shrine while relaunching her suspense novel of courage, truth, and redemption

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, March 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Award-winning Catholic author, speaker, and pilgrimage leader Amy Schisler invites pilgrims to join her for a 7-day bus pilgrimage in September 2026 to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion in Champion, Wisconsin, the first and only Church-approved Marian apparition site in the United States.

“For me, pilgrimage is never just travel,” Schisler says. “It’s about stepping into sacred history, walking where the saints walked, and allowing God to meet us in a powerful and personal way.”

In 1859, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Adele Brise at this sacred site, calling for prayer, conversion, and catechesis. Officially approved by the Catholic Church in 2010, the Shrine of Our Lady of Champion holds a unique place in American Catholic history.

“When we stand in places where Our Lady delivered messages of warning and hope, we’re reminded that faith is alive and active,” Schisler explains. “These journeys create space for renewal, healing, and transformation.”

In addition to the September pilgrimage to Our Lady of Champion, registration for her next Holy Land pilgrimage will begin later this spring.

Schisler is also celebrating the relaunch of the revised and expanded edition of her suspense novel, A Place to Call Home. The novel follows Susan O’Neil, who discovers two starving girls digging through her trash, only to realize they are silent witnesses to a brutal crime. With the help of a detective and a former love, she uncovers a deadly conspiracy that could cost them everything.

“This story asks what we’re willing to risk to uncover the truth,” Schisler says. “At its heart, it’s about healing and believing that even in the darkest circumstances, truth and grace can prevail.”

Through both sacred travel and storytelling, she continues her mission of inviting others deeper into faith, courage, and spiritual renewal.

“My prayer is that every journey, whether to a sacred shrine or through the pages of a novel, draws people closer to Christ and deeper into trust in His plan,” Schisler concludes. “I believe stories and sacred places both have the power to transform us. When we open our hearts to either, we discover grace waiting to meet us.”
